Remediation
Over half the U.S. population and a great many
industrial and agricultural ventures depend on groundwater for their
water supply. Alarmingly, many groundwater sources are threatened,
or have already been compromised, by organic, inorganic or radioactive
contaminants introduced to the environment by improper disposal or
accidental release. Estimates of remediation costs at U.S. government
sites alone range into the hundreds of billions of dollars.
Whether your water source shows impacts of contamination from a
local industry or simple hydrocarbon contamination from a nearby
gasoline station, TSG has both the special expertise and practical,
hands-on experience to deal effectively with the problem.
TSG currently operates and maintains groundwater
remediation facilities for Esso and Texaco. TSG was also a key
participant in the construction of a groundwater remediation “Superfund”
site, and it is now operating the remediation plants at the Superfund
sites. All of these facilities are located on St. Thomas in the
United States Virgin Islands.
